The Best Time for Starting Research

An inspiring afternoon unfolded at the seminar “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡”, organized by the Department of EEE, ULAB, in collaboration with the ULAB Electronics & Robotics Club.

We were honored to have 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐝 𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐪𝐮𝐞,𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫, who delivered a highly engaging session on research culture, academic discipline, and the importance of starting early in one’s research journey.

Beyond traditional boundaries, Sir encouraged students to explore interdisciplinary interests, collaborate across fields, and actively engage with mentors and faculty members. He also shared practical insights on how ideas grow into research, and how consistency and curiosity shape impactful academic work, including journal publications.

His words left a lasting impression on both students and faculty, reminding us that research is not just a task, but a continuous journey of curiosity, collaboration, and persistence.
