Seminar on System, Automation, and Control for Large-Scale Engineering
The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), successfully hosted an insightful seminar titled “System, Automation, and Control for Large-Scale Engineering Projects” on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Room PD-102.
Commodore M Shamsul Aziz, a highly accomplished naval officer with over thirty years of distinguished service in the Bangladesh Navy, graced the session. Currently serving as the Director General of Sena Kallyan Sangstha, Commodore Aziz leads the Electrical and Electronic Division, contributing significantly to national development through strategic innovation.
With a strong academic background—holding a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a Master’s in Defense Studies—Commodore Aziz brought invaluable insights on strategic leadership, automation systems, and defense project management. His experience in international missions and high-impact engineering solutions provided students with a rare perspective on the role of engineers in large-scale national and defense-oriented projects.
The event offered engineering students a rich learning opportunity, enabling them to understand how advanced automation and control strategies are implemented in real-world scenarios. It also served to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical field expertise.
ULAB extends its sincere appreciation to Commodore M Shamsul Aziz for sharing his knowledge and to all students who actively participated in this inspiring session.
